More capable charts, history and AI editing
Highlights
Charts without limits
Build charts with as many series, categories, points and timeline tasks as your story needs. You can also style chart annotations, control scatter axes and return a sorted chart to its original data order.
Richer file history
Browse named versions and auto-saves in a dedicated File history window, preview older slides and bring selected slides back without rolling back your whole deck.
Clearer AI editing
See what the AI is doing, stop a prompt when needed and review its finished work from a persistent prompt tile. You can run more prompts at once, and the assistant gets started faster.
A faster canvas
Editing dense slides is noticeably quicker, with smoother zooming and less waiting for thumbnails to update.

New behaviour
29charts
- Add and edit titles for the X and Y axes of scatter and bubble charts.
- Set minimums, maximums and tick intervals for a scatter or bubble chart’s X axis, or hide that axis when you do not need it.
- Style each chart annotation’s line and label independently with colours, borders, typography and dash settings.
- Build charts with as many series, categories, points and timeline tasks as you need.
- Click an active chart sort direction again to return the chart to the order shown in its data sheet.
- Set separate theme colours for data labels placed on light and dark chart segments.
- Add a Gantt or timeline chart from the Add table menu as well as the Add chart menu.
editor
- Press Cmd/Ctrl+S to save pending typing and see whether your deck is saving or already saved.
- Use the eyedropper from the colour picker header or press D while the picker is open to sample a colour from your screen.
- Scroll and pan all the way to elements placed outside the slide bounds.
- Set line thickness to zero to remove a stroke, or use quarter-pixel increments for lighter rules and dividers.
- Zoom out past fit-to-screen with a trackpad or mouse wheel.
ai
- Run multiple AI prompts at once, with the assistant in your conversation handling each edit directly.
- Prompt tiles show the first slide changed by the AI and let you jump there with Show changes.
- Open an AI prompt tile to follow its steps, stop it while it is running and review its result or failure afterwards.
- Keep the AI edit bar open at the bottom of the editor and focus it with Option+Space.
history
- Browse named versions, auto-saves and dates in a dedicated File history window.
- Save any past deck version as a separate deck without changing your live deck.
- Copy selected slides from an older deck version into your current deck.
- Hover a Slide history thumbnail to preview that older version before restoring it.
images
- Insert several icons at once in a centred row that wraps when needed.
- Newly inserted images keep their proportions locked by default.
- Drop an image anywhere in the slide editor to add it to the current slide.
slides
- Restore an older slide version as a new slide directly after the current one without replacing your live slide.
- Arrow past the last slide in the slide rail to preview the blank slide you are about to add.
- Use Home, End, Page Up and Page Down in the slide rail to move between slides.
keyboard
- Press F2 to edit the text in a selected shape, then press F2 again to return focus to the shape.
tables
- Drop icons and indicators into compatible table cells to place and size them in the cell automatically.
templates
- New decks can fill date placeholders on title and inserted template slides with today’s date in the template’s chosen format.
Performance
4ai
- The AI assistant starts editing faster and spends less time narrating progress between changes.
- Slide-editing requests reuse recently discovered tools so the assistant can begin work with less setup.
editor
- Editing and zooming slides with many shapes is substantially faster, while thumbnails update without holding up the canvas.
- A deck tab that has been left open catches up with later edits in one update instead of redrawing repeatedly.
UI
21editor
- Align and stretch use the last shape you select as the anchor for the rest of the selection.
- Resizing an element shows a shared-dimension guide when it matches another element’s width or height.
- Dragging a table edge now shows alignment guides and snaps to matching edges and centres.
- Arrowheads keep a consistent size for arrows with the same stroke width.
- Group outlines and resize handles are easier to see over dark or busy content.
- Notifications now appear in the top-right corner instead of crowding the editor controls.
charts
- Long chart annotation labels wrap cleanly and take only the space they need around the plot.
- Editing chart data now saves as you type, with one undo step for the whole editing session.
- Chart menus are clearer about unavailable options and explain why an action cannot be used.
- Right-click chart, table and image controls now use clearer action labels, including explicit Delete actions.
slides
- Move to end replaces the less clear Send to graveyard label for moving a slide to the back of a deck.
- New Preliminary and Illustrative labels are sized to fit their text on one line.
- Slide deletion no longer has a hover-activated button in the thumbnail rail.
decks
- The Set up your deck prompt stays visible longer after quick-creating a deck.
- The Set up your deck prompt appears in a more prominent position on the slide.
history
- The name field in File history remains visible when there are no changes to save, with a clear disabled state.
- Slide history thumbnails stay readable when you are zoomed far out.
home
- Deck previews on the home page and project cards include template artwork, page numbers and copyright details.
- The recent decks row keeps its scroll position while more decks load.
exports
- Leaving a deck clears an export notification instead of carrying it to the next page.
images
- Light fill and outline colours remain visible as toolbar swatches.
Bug fix
60editor
- Stretch to width and Stretch to height match the visible dimensions of shapes rotated by 90 or 270 degrees.
- Stretching a line now measures the visible stroke rather than invisible padding around it.
- Pinch-to-zoom works smoothly in Safari, including over text and placeholders.
- Right-clicking a group while other items are selected shows the full element menu.
- Multi-selections show outlines and resize handles for every selected item, including covered items.
- Dragging through empty space inside a selected group creates a lasso instead of moving the group.
- Opening a new empty deck no longer shows a sync error.
- Save indicators and leave-page warnings now reflect only your own unsaved work.
- Shapes remain clickable after reconnecting, and completed saves no longer leave the editor looking permanently unsaved.
- Aspect-ratio-locked resizing now snaps to alignment guides without breaking the ratio.
- Holding Shift while dragging keeps an element on its locked axis even when another guide is nearby.
- Very small groups keep their members centred and their outlines intact across browsers.
- Dragging a lasso-selected item behind a text box moves that selected item instead of clearing the selection.
- Lines and arrows are selected by their visible stroke instead of their full bounding box.
- Clicking an editor notification no longer starts a selection marquee behind it.
text
- Pasting a web address over selected text replaces the selection instead of attaching a link to it.
- Format painter now carries line spacing and paragraph spacing with the rest of a text style.
- Disclaimer slides use readable theme text colours on dark themes.
- Font-size shortcuts preserve mixed text sizing and change only the text you selected.
- Vertically aligned text stays centred when paragraph spacing or nested lists change.
- Bold can be removed reliably from subtitles and mixed-format text.
- Text colour and font choices remain available for new typing after you replace all text in a box.
- Text boxes stop shrinking before their text spills outside them.
- Pasted paragraphs now match the list formatting of the text box they are pasted into.
- Text boxes and bullet lists copied from PowerPoint paste as editable Riplo text and lists.
- Typing three dashes, asterisks or underscores in a text box keeps them as editable text.
charts
- Broken-axis charts draw their value axis across the full plot and place axis titles correctly.
- Percent marimekko charts reserve enough room for complete value-axis labels such as 100%.
- Scatter and bubble chart axis settings, titles and visibility choices now carry through to PowerPoint export.
- Charts use their available box more completely, with axes meeting cleanly at the bottom corner.
- The chart settings panel stays attached to its chart and keeps lower controls reachable on slides near the bottom of the window.
- Chart data labels avoid collisions, totals and category labels while staying visible for small segments.
- Chart legends can be dragged and recoloured consistently across chart types without overlapping annotations.
- Delete removes the selected chart part when one is selected and deletes the chart only when the chart itself is selected.
- Clicking a bar total selects that total, and waterfall totals stay clear of labels on negative values.
images
- Shift+Arrow resizes images proportionally instead of stretching them.
- Image and chart outlines render at the thickness you choose in the editor, thumbnails and exports.
- Searching the visual picker finds indicators from the Icons tab, including numbered indicators.
- Inserting or dragging a logo no longer raises a conflict prompt from its automatic sizing.
- Logo and icon pickers keep keyboard focus in their search field when you start typing.
- Replacing a logo keeps its natural proportions and alignment instead of squashing it into the old frame.
- Dropping a non-image file into the editor explains that it cannot be added as an image.
- Images linked from other websites render in PDF exports, thumbnails and presentation mode.
ai
- Reloading while the AI is editing restores the in-progress prompt tile and its review when the work finishes.
- AI prompt tiles keep their working state accurate across dropped connections.
- The AI’s visual review refreshes a slide when an image did not load instead of treating an incomplete preview as finished.
- Long AI edits continue until the assistant has finished instead of stopping after a fixed number of steps.
exports
- PDF exports include selectable and searchable text for punctuation, ligatures and supported non-Latin writing systems.
- PowerPoint exports preserve paragraph spacing in text boxes and lists.
- PDF exports skip hidden slides and explain what to do when every slide is hidden.
- PDF export stops and identifies affected slides when an image does not load instead of producing a blank gap.
tables
- Inserting a table row or column uses a practical size instead of unexpectedly pushing the table off the slide.
- Table borders end cleanly at the table edge in the editor and exports.
- Lassoing a table selects the table even when its cells contain icons or other visuals.
history
- Saving a deck version as a new deck opens directly into the finished copy instead of an empty tab.
- Saving a named deck version remains usable while teammates are editing the deck.
clipboard
- Pasted elements reset their staggered offset when you paste them onto a different slide.
presentation
- Slides appear complete when you advance, go back or follow a presentation instead of filling in image by image.
slides
- Scrolling the slide rail works normally after selecting a thumbnail.
templates
- Your slide content stays above template decoration, while page numbers and copyright remain on top.
