v2.88.24 September 2026
Smarter AI editing and hands-on charts
AI edits now apply directly with clear restore points, while charts gain deeper editing controls, spreadsheet data entry and richer formatting. AI-generated slides follow your templates and brand more closely, and tables and alignment tools are faster to work with.
Highlights
Direct AI edits
AI changes land straight in your deck and are marked with an AI badge. A Before AI edit restore point makes it easy to return to your earlier version.
Hands-on chart editing
Build more chart types, paste data from spreadsheets, adjust axes and labels, and control details such as bar gaps, legends and waterfall colours.
Template-aware AI slides
AI-generated ceremony slides now follow the designs you create in the template editor, including agenda rows, dividers and disclaimers.
Faster table workflows
Select, move, copy and resize whole table rows and columns with new keyboard shortcuts and track controls.

New behaviour
34charts
- Style every chart with a background fill, border colour, border width, border style and corner radius.
- Add and adjust a broken value axis on bar charts when one value dwarfs the rest.
- Resize bars by dragging their edges or choose bar-gap presets from the chart menu.
- Build combination charts with bars and lines on one frame, including lines measured against a secondary axis.
- Set chart axis bounds, steps, titles, gridlines, label placement and number formats.
- Sort chart categories by value with one click.
- Turn a table on a slide into a chart from its right-click menu.
- Paste chart data from Excel, Google Sheets or CSV files, including formatted numbers, dates and percentages.
- Place chart legends automatically, pin them to a dock, or drag them to a free position.
- Apply prefixes, suffixes, number scaling and year display formats to chart labels and axes.
- Hide a chart series without removing its data, then restore it whenever you need it.
- Choose how multi-series data is represented when switching a chart to pie or doughnut.
- Style chart labels, totals, axis ticks and titles with the main toolbar and keyboard shortcuts.
- Colour individual columns in a single-series waterfall chart.
- Build waterfall charts with mixed positive and negative steps, including opening-balance totals.
ai
- AI edits apply directly, mark the slide with an AI badge, and add a Before AI edit restore point to version history.
- Ask AI to create or fully refine every chart type, including combination charts, axis breaks, secondary axes and chart display settings.
- AI-generated cover, agenda, section divider, closing and disclaimer slides now follow the designs you set in the template editor.
- Ask AI to add or replace a company logo using its website, with the logo sized to preserve its proportions.
- Send several slide-editing prompts at once, with up to five requests working in parallel and additional requests queued automatically.
- Track AI requests in numbered tiles that take you to the slides they changed.
- Send a follow-up AI request immediately without waiting for the previous reply to finish.
- Recompose an AI-generated slide into a new finished layout without rebuilding every element yourself.
tables
- Select whole table rows and columns, including separate non-adjacent tracks, and edit them as a unit.
- Copy, cut, paste and duplicate table rows and columns with their sizing and spacing intact.
- Use spreadsheet-style keyboard shortcuts to select, insert, delete and move table rows and columns.
clipboard
- Copy a slide image as a real picture that you can paste into Figma, Slack, Google Slides and other apps.
- Paste text or a link into a selected empty shape or text box.
editor
- Match selected elements to the width or height of the first element in the selection.
- Swap two selected elements’ positions while preserving their sizes.
design packs
- Create a deck theme from a company’s brand, using its logo and colour palette as the starting point.
search
- Find text inside charts with search.
templates
- Set repeating logo and footer chrome across your deck in one step.
text
- Use AI to colour an individual phrase within a title or takeaway without recolouring the rest of the text box.
Performance
1ai
- AI slide edits begin sooner after you send a prompt.
UI
12charts
- Edit chart data in a movable spreadsheet panel while the chart updates in place.
- Click a chart part to open settings for that specific part instead of searching through chart-wide controls.
- Choose chart types from smaller captioned tiles that preview data-changing choices before you apply them.
- Keep chart menus anchored to the chart while panning or zooming the canvas.
ai
- See AI activity on a slide as it happens, with a single slide-level indicator for whole-slide edits.
- The slide edit control has a quieter pencil design, a focused prompt field and compact status tiles.
- AI-generated slides use layout guidance tailored to their template and column arrangement for more balanced results.
app
- The slide editor header no longer includes the Example Project shortcut.
editor
- Alignment controls use clearer distribute icons.
images
- Logos from the logo picker appear at their natural proportions immediately, and wordmarks can be used in table cells.
slides
- Slide history uses clearer AI restore-point labels and badges.
tables
- Table row and column controls stay visible while you drag a table and are easier to reach when adding tracks.
Bug fix
8charts
- Change and Compare chart labels no longer overlap their arrows.
- Broken-axis chart ticks now remain readable after the axis gap is compressed.
exports
- Template artwork now layers correctly in exports, thumbnails and Present mode.
- PowerPoint exports work again for decks created from affected default templates.
slides
- Rebuilding a slide with AI now preserves that slide’s version history and labels AI edits on the correct slides.
- Candidate slide comparison stays open until you explicitly Keep or Discard a choice.
tables
- Small table-cell text now renders at the font size you choose.
text
- Clicking again on a selected empty shape now reliably enters text editing.
