v2.51.2310 August 2026
More precise editing for groups, text and AI work
This release makes group editing, text formatting and table work more predictable across the editor. AI research progress now streams live into Riplo, while collaborative editing on large decks is smoother and more resilient.
Highlights
Smarter group editing
Groups now align, rotate, resize and ungroup more predictably, including nested groups and selected members.
Reliable text formatting
Copy formatting works across rich text and lists, while pasted text preserves line breaks and fits the destination styling better.
Live research progress
AI research runs now stream progress to the app as they work, so you can follow along instead of waiting without feedback.
Smoother collaboration
Large collaborative decks produce fewer unnecessary sync conflicts and stay more responsive while people edit together.

- You can adjust a badge's corner radius.

- Align selected groups as single units while preserving their internal layout.
- Shift-click members inside a group to select and align them individually.
- Ungroup selected nested groups one level at a time in a single undo step.
- Rotate groups as their own objects, with that rotation preserved when you duplicate, paste or reuse them.
- Zoom the slide canvas up to 500%.
ai
- Follow AI research runs live as their progress streams into the app.
decks
- You can delete decks directly from Riplo.
slides
- You can view slide history and versions without enabling an experimental setting.
text
- Bullets and numbered lists have separate toolbar toggles.
Performance
1editor
- Collaborative editing on large decks stays smoother with fewer unnecessary sync conflicts.

- Shape picker previews and placement ghosts match the shape, theme styling and proportions that are inserted.
- Group outlines update live while you rotate members.
- Thumbnails, presentations, shared pages and exports match the canvas styling more closely.
- Toolbar buttons no longer keep a focus highlight after a menu closes.
text
- Bold text has a consistent weight across text styles.
- New decks use Arial as the default body font.
- Shape text can visibly overflow while keeping its vertical alignment.
images
- Icon and logo search now uses one consistent panel with combined results and steadier sizing.
Bug fix
31editor
- Resizing several elements now preserves appropriate aspect ratios, text fitting and proportional spacing.
- Resizing several selected shapes keeps the opposite corner fixed instead of pulling the selection toward its centre.
- Copying or duplicating one shape from a group no longer creates a one-item phantom group.
- Nested group outlines correctly contain rotated sub-groups.
- Line snap guides, selection bounds and arrowheads now match the line geometry on the canvas.
- Multi-select rotation and rotated line handles now stay stable and anchored while you edit.
- Opening access-key navigation keeps a live text selection so formatting applies to the selected text.
- Lines snap while you drag endpoints, and arrowheads and selection handles scale with their shapes.
- Shift-resizing square shapes no longer jumps, and marquee selection now requires elements to be fully enclosed.
- The editor no longer remains stuck showing Saving after an unchanged table resize.
text
- Copying styles from text no longer changes the pasted font unexpectedly.
- Dragging across text selects words instead of moving the text box.
- Clicks beside overflowing text no longer select the text box.
- Copy formatting now carries text colour, alignment, padding, shape adjustments and other supported styling.
- Textboxes select only when you click their text or edges, leaving empty interiors available for canvas actions.
- Paste formatting now works reliably on selected rich text.
- Pasting formatting onto a whole text element preserves lists, highlights, superscript and subscript.
- List markers update their size and colour as soon as you paste formatting.
tables
- Textboxes created from table cells keep each cell's rendered font size.
- Textboxes created from table cells keep their authored dimensions while you select, edit and type.
- Reordering table rows and columns now handles individual items and grouped selections correctly.
- Shift+Arrow table selections move correctly through merged cells and stop at the true table edge.
- Turning a table cell into a bullet list no longer changes its text size or line height.
images
- Crop and aspect-ratio controls work on a selected image even when other elements are selected.
- Image crop changes are saved reliably.
- Cropping rotated images no longer distorts or jitters while you drag.
ai
- Research synthesis adds generated slides to your deck and shows a Retry option when generation fails.
clipboard
- External pasted text keeps its line breaks while adopting the destination's spacing.
exports
- PowerPoint exports use native slide-number fields so page numbers stay correct after slides are reordered.
notes
- Edited notes move to the top of the notes list as expected.
search
- Search handles large matching decks more gracefully and offers a retry when more results need loading.
