Your deck style, everywhere

Deck themes now carry more consistently through inline text, tables, charts, AI editing, and PowerPoint exports. This release also expands copy and paste controls, adds more flexible table sizing, and smooths everyday editing interactions.

Highlights

  • Theme styling throughout

    Update a deck theme and see its styling reflected in inline text, charts, and tables. AI can also inspect the deck palette before choosing colors.

  • Smarter copy and paste

    Choose whether pasted content keeps its original theme or adopts the destination theme. Formatting, tabular data, images, and other assets are easier to carry between slides.

  • More flexible tables

    Resize table rows to grow or shrink the table, or use modifier keys for fixed-size and width-changing adjustments. Table resizing is also more stable around dense content.

  • Cleaner PowerPoint exports

    PPTX exports retain transparency, themed colors, and font weights more accurately. Line shapes also open cleanly in PowerPoint.

clipboard

  • Choose whether pasted content keeps its source theme or adopts the destination theme.
  • Paste copied images and other assets into the destination deck alongside slide content.
  • Copy and apply formatting with Format Painter, including rich text, table, shape, and line styles.
  • Paste tabular data using spreadsheet-style clipboard parsing.

tables

  • Drag a row divider to resize the row and grow or shrink table height, or hold Alt to balance adjacent rows at a fixed height.
  • Hold Alt while dragging a column divider to grow or shrink table width.
  • Deck theme edits now update table typography, cell colors, and borders, including preset tables.

text

  • Click to place text boxes from Add text and the shape menu.
  • Use theme colors for inline text color and highlighting so those marks update with the presentation theme.
  • Open legacy columns content as editable text boxes while preserving its text.

charts

  • Deck theme edits now update chart axes, gridlines, labels, and legends.
  • Set transparency for chart series colors.

ai

  • AI editing can inspect a deck’s palette and use raw hex colors, matching nearby colors to the theme while retaining distinct custom colors.

colors

  • Enter custom colors as hex, hex with transparency, RGB, or RGBA values.

labels

  • Use slide labels in place of stickers, with expanded theme styling.

shapes

  • Add focus indicator and badge shapes from the shape menu.

slides

  • Toggle individual slide thumbnails into or out of a multi-selection with Cmd/Ctrl-click.

UI

  • Use Option/Alt to duplicate while dragging, with Ctrl retained for Windows and Linux.
  • Icon controls in the toolbar align correctly.

charts

  • Chart selections no longer show an irrelevant fill color control in the toolbar.

clipboard

  • A Styles copied confirmation appears after copying formatting.

templates

  • Theme and template edits stay out of the canvas undo history, so use their editor reset controls instead.

text

  • Text box placement previews now match the transparent boxes they create.

  • PPTX exports preserve transparent and partially transparent fill colors.
  • Upward and leftward line shapes now open cleanly in PowerPoint exports.
  • PPTX exports retain theme font weights in slide text.
  • PPTX exports correctly resolve themed colors in chart labels, icons, and rich text.

tables

  • Corner-resizing a table stays stable instead of jumping during a drag.
  • Bullet-heavy table rows stop resizing before their text is clipped.
  • Starting a corner resize no longer expands text-heavy tables to an oversized minimum.

text

  • Moving frames no longer interrupts rich-text editing.
  • New text boxes keep their snapped position and alignment after auto-fit.
  • Auto-height text boxes grow with each keystroke while preserving middle or bottom alignment.

editor

  • Resize handles remain available and correctly positioned on rotated shapes.
  • Line dash controls in the toolbar apply reliably.

templates

  • Organization templates can be edited from their dedicated template views.
  • Legacy templates retain their stored backgrounds in previews and when added to a deck.

charts

  • Chart axis labels now use the text color set by the deck theme.

colors

  • Color picker hover previews no longer change an element’s color unless a color is selected.

slides

  • Thumbnail keyboard controls keep working after clicking the canvas.
