More precise slide editing

This release expands smart tables, adds adjustable callouts, and gives you finer control over text, charts, images, and shapes. It also makes common editing actions and undo behavior more reliable.

  • Add adjustable callout shapes with a draggable pointer and corner-radius control that carry through to PowerPoint exports.
  • Place lines with a single click after choosing the line tool or pressing L.
  • Resize, reshape, and rotate selected shapes without leaving text editing.

  • Choose new presets for summary and detail, process flow, comparison, and metric tables.
  • Add chevrons to tables and retain them when exporting to PowerPoint.
  • Add icons, indicators, and logos to table cells.

  • Set line height and paragraph spacing for slide text and table cells.
  • Highlight rich text with colour from the editor toolbar.
  • Justify paragraph text from the rich-text toolbar.

Bug fix

  • Undoing table edits now steps through meaningful editing actions separately.
  • Pasting while editing a table cell keeps the pasted content in that active cell.
  • Resize table rows and columns from the table’s outer edges.
  • Resizing a table after editing it creates its own undo step.

ai

  • AI editing errors show the message once and point to the next action.

charts

  • Chart selections, labels, and hit areas stay aligned after offsetting the x-axis on horizontal line and area charts.

clipboard

  • Copy, cut, and paste shortcuts work for selected chart elements and other non-text editing modes.

images

  • Entering crop mode after stretching an image keeps the image in place.

slides

  • Shift and arrow-key resizing now changes shape height in the expected direction.

text

  • Bullet markers stay aligned with right- and centre-aligned list text.
