v2.122.45 October 2026

A new home for making and sharing decks

Riplo has a roomier editor, a command palette for finding and doing things, and a rebuilt AI workspace that keeps its work visible on the slides. You can also share decks with view-only guests, choose exactly what to download, and give tables a look that follows your deck’s theme.

Highlights

  • A roomier editor

The slide has more space, formatting lives in one ribbon, and the tools for your selection sit in a right-hand panel. Riplo’s prompt box and tasks have their own places alongside your work.

  • Find and act

Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K to find decks, slides, people and editor actions. You can even insert a slide from another deck without leaving the one you’re editing.

  • Watch Riplo work

Riplo shows which slides and elements it’s editing, keeps conversations in a Tasks panel, and gives you a way to review its changes. Connected AI assistants can also build a laid-out slide from its content in one step.

  • Share your way

Invite someone to view or edit a deck, share with a guest outside your organisation, or make a private copy of a deck shared with you. Downloads can include all slides or just the ones you choose.

New behaviour

ai

  • Send a prompt from command-palette search results directly to Riplo, or use ⌘J or Ctrl+J to put it in the prompt box first.
  • Ask, edit or plan from the prompt box beneath the slide, and attach images, PDFs or PowerPoint files by picking, pasting or dropping them.
  • Each prompt becomes a task whose conversation, progress and results remain available in the editor after a reload.
  • Review Riplo’s changes from a task result, stepping through the slides it edited or marking them all reviewed with Looks good.
  • Queue a follow-up in a task while Riplo is working, and it sends when the current turn ends.
  • Search, navigate and archive tasks in the Tasks panel; tasks you finish reviewing also archive themselves after you move on.
  • Riplo asks a specific question with suggested answers when it cannot safely choose between things on a slide.
  • Choose which suggested changes to make after asking Riplo a question, or untick steps before running a plan.
  • Plan a whole deck’s storyline before adding slides, then run the full plan to build those slides.
  • Name a slide in words or tag the whole deck in a prompt, with the tags kept in your task conversation.
  • Riplo shows placeholders where a new slide or element will land while it builds, and outlines elements while it edits them.
  • Connected AI assistants can build and lay out a slide from its content in one step, read it before editing, find free space and use the deck’s templates while retaining hand-placed elements.
  • Ask Riplo to rearrange a slide’s existing groups or move the slide to another layout without replacing your words and styling.
  • Ask Riplo to move a slide to another template while keeping it in place and retaining elements you added by hand.
  • Riplo can lay out dated timelines with phases, markers and colour-coded categories.
  • Riplo can draw a cycle diagram with connected steps, icons and colour.
  • Riplo can build and edit chevron tables, including process matrices and step timelines that you can adjust in the table panel.
  • Ask Riplo to recreate a slide from an image or PDF, including pictures and symbols cut from the source.
  • Riplo can leave space for a custom diagram or other content it builds beside a laid-out slide’s components.
  • Open the AI connection guide from Home, the editor or Integrations, with steps for Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Ask Riplo to tidy a slide when it spots an overlap or alignment issue, or choose Surprise me on an empty slide.
  • Riplo can write longer descriptions, quotes and table cells when the chosen layout has room.

slides

  • Collect slides from several Library searches in a numbered tray, then preview and reorder them before inserting.
  • Find a slide from another deck in the command palette and insert a copy after your current slide, matching your deck’s formatting by default.
  • Change a selected shape to another shape without rebuilding its text or styling, or select matching elements across the slide.
  • Drag a handle to turn a circle into a semicircle or taper a rectangle into a trapezoid.
  • Save an element, group or multi-selection to your library from the right-click menu.
  • Use the right-click menu on empty slide space to duplicate, hide, move or delete the slide.
  • Use an indicator key and a separate footer on the same slide.
  • Add an indicator key without a naming prompt, then edit its default label on the slide.
  • Choose a table’s first-column style from that column’s right-click menu.

tables

  • Make selected table rows or columns into chevron steps, extend them later, or turn them back into ordinary cells.
  • Set chevron ends, slant, gaps, shading, anchor and divider colour in the table panel.
  • Add divider marks or a timeline rail beneath chevron steps.
  • Transpose chevron rows into columns and back while keeping their steps and labels.
  • Use the table panel to switch row and column roles and turn banded rows on or off.
  • Insert a themed four-by-four table with a header by clicking, or drag to draw one at your chosen size.
  • Set table padding, header styling, first-column styling, banding and separate line rules in your deck theme.

editor

  • Run applicable editor actions by name from the command palette, including formatting and chart commands whose choices open in place.
  • The slide has more room, with formatting in one ribbon row and selection tools in a right-hand panel you can pin or fold away.
  • Open an applicable right-click menu from the keyboard with Shift+F10 or the Menu key.
  • Use the Add table action in the command palette to place or draw a table on the slide.
  • Reach individual table-border and shape-outline edges from the keyboard, alongside more named controls and visible focus indicators.
  • Choose a table cell’s text direction and a border’s line style using keyboard shortcuts.

search

  • Search also finds decks containing some of your words, while decks matching every word still come first.
  • When a deck matches through a slide, its search preview shows that slide and opening the result takes you straight there.
  • Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K anywhere to search decks, slide text, people and available actions, with scopes you can change using Tab.
  • Preview a deck’s slides with the arrow keys in the command palette without opening the deck.
  • Search your Riplo conversations from the command palette and reopen one at the slide it concerns.
  • Search ranks decks by name before matches on their slides, and a deck link or ID finds that deck in the Library.

sharing

  • Invite people, teams or email addresses with Can view or Can edit access, and change their access later in the Share panel.
  • Invite someone outside your organisation as a guest to the decks you choose without making them an organisation member.
  • Manage invited people, teams and link access from one Share panel, where changes save as you make them.
  • Turn link sharing off and back on while keeping the same link, and choose which slide appears in its preview.
  • Remove everyone’s access to a deck in one confirmed step from the Share panel.
  • Share & export gives people who cannot manage a deck’s access a simpler window for downloads and copying its link.

notes

  • Filter File history to a date range, including a range with no start or end date.
  • Choose whether slides copied from File history match the current deck or retain their earlier formatting.
  • Browse named Saved versions separately from Auto-saves, including the states Riplo saved before AI edits and restores.

charts

  • Choose a chart’s drawing direction in the chart picker with the pointer or arrow keys before inserting it.
  • Break a chart category name onto a new line yourself, or choose whether category labels wrap or rotate.

decks

  • All decks lists the decks you can open with their owner, slide count and last update, plus scope and sort controls.
  • Duplicate a deck you can open, including a view-only deck, as a separate private deck of your own.

exports

  • Download a PDF or PowerPoint containing all slides, non-hidden slides or slides you select from a thumbnail grid.
  • People viewing a shared deck can download what they can see as a PDF, and signed-in viewers can download a PowerPoint.

app

  • Pick dates with Riplo’s keyboard-friendly calendar in Library filters, timeline charts and Gantt annotations.

find

  • Find matches inside a deck and step through them with Enter or the arrows.

home

  • Get started from Home with four introductory tasks and a learning deck, and restart onboarding from your account menu.

teams

  • Admins can review guests and pending invitations in Teams, remove a guest or invitation, or make a guest a member.

text

  • Set the space between bullets and after lists in the deck theme editor.

Performance

7

ai

  • Riplo starts image-heavy requests sooner by reading up to ten attached images at once.
  • Riplo starts editing sooner because it already has the slide you are on and slides you name in your prompt.
  • Riplo answers simple questions about a deck faster by skipping an extra read and ending when its answer is ready.
  • Riplo resumes work sooner after its editor connection refreshes.

charts

  • Charts with many data labels lay out faster.

editor

  • The right-hand panel opens and folds more smoothly, with library and icon results ready when you open them.

sharing

  • Slides appear sooner when you choose a share link’s preview slide.

UI

50

ai

  • Riplo’s status appears on the slides it is working on, with markers beside their thumbnails and a separate chip for whole-deck work.
  • Task steps show what Riplo did and how long each step took, while status wording stays in sync across the slide and Tasks panel.
  • Riplo’s answers use shorter text and slide or element chips that you can point at to highlight their subject.
  • The prompt box opens when you start typing in its collapsed bar and keeps an unfinished draft visible there.
  • The task reply box starts with its subject slide tagged, even when you have moved to another slide.
  • The Tasks panel groups work that needs input, work on this slide and work on other slides, with an archive below.
  • A task result distinguishes changes to review, questions to answer, plans to run and work you can retry.
  • Riplo’s task marker stays beside a slide’s thumbnail even when that slide is selected.
  • Riplo’s task conversations separate your requests from its answers and fold long answers behind Show more.
  • Task icons distinguish slide and whole-deck work and show when Riplo is working, waiting or needs your attention.
  • Slides Riplo is rebuilding dim beneath an outline of the coming layout.
  • AI-built slides make lighter layouts, labels, lists and theme-coloured icons fit their content more naturally.
  • AI-built charts label values quoted on the slide, and line charts place their axis nearer the data.
  • AI-built tables keep short tables compact and align their text, numbers and icons within each row.
  • The editor shows how many files you can attach to a prompt and warns when attached documents may take a long time to recreate.
  • Riplo shows the slide it is laying out in its working line.

app

  • The sidebar rests as a slim icon rail, opens when you hover or focus it, and can be pinned open.
  • Cards, fields, menus, tooltips and dialogs have a more consistent look across the editor and settings pages.
  • Informational pages have a reading-focused layout and Riplo’s animated background, which stays still when reduced motion is on.
  • Dates and times across deck lists, search, settings and sharing use the same short format.
  • Shortcut hints show Mac or Windows keys to match the keyboard you use.
  • Notifications and scrolling panels use a more compact layout without squeezing their messages or controls.
  • More fields, slide thumbnails and library previews show a visible keyboard focus ring.

templates

  • Theme cards preview colours, fonts, charts and tables on an example slide.
  • Template pack cards show which template you’re viewing and wrap around when you reach either end.
  • The template editor keeps shared margins beside the zoom control and starts with its tools pinned open.
  • Deck theme and theme pack sections appear as tabs that remain usable in a narrow window.
  • Inherited theme values appear in grey so you can distinguish them from values you set yourself.
  • Resetting a template or restoring design defaults asks for confirmation before replacing your work.

editor

  • Right-click menus use a consistent order, names and formatting choices for elements, slides and tables.
  • The deck menu now sits beside Home, while clicking the deck name starts renaming it.
  • The editor’s right panel starts pinned open on a first visit and remembers your later choice.
  • The keyboard shortcuts guide groups shortcuts by when they work and puts search at the top.
  • The colour picker’s controls line up in one grid, and disabled tooltips stay concise.

sharing

  • Decks with link sharing turned on show a small share mark on deck cards, in search and beside the deck name.
  • A shared deck shows the familiar editor layout with its editing controls visibly disabled and a banner explaining view-only access.
  • A deck menu’s sharing action is called Manage access on Home and All decks.

home

  • Home brings recent decks into one grid with a scope switch, deck and slide counts, and a weekly summary.
  • Home’s activity card gives deck names more emphasis and keeps entries to a consistent height.

notes

  • File history places restore, copy and save-as-new-deck actions beneath the selected version’s slides.
  • Versions in File history show their names prominently, with quieter details and icons for automatic saves.

tables

  • Chevron rows have more even spacing and keep their pointed ends inside the table.
  • New tables have roomier cells, matching the default spacing of tables Riplo builds.

charts

  • Chart menus, the chart picker and the right panel use matching headings and spacing.

decks

  • An unavailable Delete action explains who can delete the deck before you try it.

exports

  • Present mode has a dark toolbar that remains readable over slides, including when presenting a shared deck.

images

  • Unavailable crop choices explain why you cannot use them when you hover.

slides

  • The slide rail gives thumbnails even spacing and keeps their selection frames clear against dark slides.

teams

  • Everyone and Guests sit above individual teams as clearly labelled organisation-wide groups.

text

  • New decks on the default theme give paragraphs and bullet lists more breathing room.

Bug fix

42

ai

  • When one edit in a multi-part request cannot be made, Riplo still applies the edits it can make.
  • Riplo leaves elements you are editing alone, locks only the elements it changes and releases them when it finishes.
  • Riplo places a new slide after your current slide and uses the current slide instead when it is empty.
  • Riplo keeps an exact colour you request instead of replacing it with a nearby theme colour.
  • Lines and arrows Riplo adds use the deck’s visible theme line colour.
  • Riplo checks a recreated slide against its source for details such as chart series, callouts and labels.
  • Riplo rewrites text that cannot fit any available layout instead of placing it outside its box.
  • Riplo uses recent deck edits when answering a follow-up instead of relying on an earlier view of the slide.
  • Riplo remembers edits it completed before an interrupted reply so a follow-up does not redo them.
  • Riplo’s final answer appears at the end of a task, including when it wrote earlier messages during that turn.
  • A prompt that cannot be sent reopens with its words, slide tags and attachments intact.
  • Sending a prompt about selected elements lets Riplo edit them without losing track of what you selected.
  • Riplo keeps a task’s steps and messages when you reload or reconnect, not just its final answer.
  • Long requests to build a deck keep going when Riplo needs to continue the work in a fresh working session.
  • An unavailable company logo in an AI-built table shows the company name instead of an empty cell.

tables

  • Turning chevrons off removes the styling they added and restores a cell’s earlier shape.
  • Chevron rows and columns retain the right colour and shading when you add, move or transpose them.
  • Table banding skips chevron rows, while header and total styling stays clear of those rows.
  • A merged header spanning to the end of a table extends across a column you add there.
  • Vertical text sizes its table cell to the direction it reads.
  • Table text stays steady in Safari when you move the pointer between cells.
  • Tables use theme cell padding when their cells have no padding of their own.

charts

  • Scatter charts export to PowerPoint with every series and point present.
  • Individually coloured waterfall columns keep their colours in PowerPoint exports and after a chart-type switch.
  • Waterfall charts with falling steps keep their zero line at the foot of the chart.
  • Imported PowerPoint bar charts made with an older chart tool keep their bar order.
  • Imported PowerPoint column charts retain a plot area positioned to leave room for a nearby note.

slides

  • A selected group drags from its edge and stays selected as a group when you click away and back.
  • Copying a shared or welcome deck keeps connectors and callout tails attached to their shapes.
  • Undo after choosing a colour you previewed restores the original colour in one step.
  • Slides already in a deck use the content space made available when you change template margins or decorative areas.
  • Imported PowerPoint covers and section headers use their corresponding Riplo slide layouts.

app

  • The welcome page continues to your intended destination after retrying a progress save.
  • Reporting a bug confirms when your report has been received.

editor

  • Opening a deck no longer briefly hides a slide after it appears or interrupts an edit you have just started.
  • Pinching over the slide zooms the slide without zooming the whole editor page.

home

  • Home’s Activity card labels your own visits correctly and leaves out decks you have not opened.

notes

  • Restoring a version of an untitled deck works and leaves its Untitled presentation name intact.

search

  • Search ignores prompts in empty title, subtitle and footnote boxes.

sharing

  • Presenting a shared deck stays on its link page and returns you to the slide where you ended.

templates

  • Saving a theme change works while you are editing a table or chart.

text

  • Paragraph spacing set in points is reflected in the spacing control, copied styles and text layout.
